Copy Editing
Your work is in pretty good shape and just needs to be checked for the basics, like asking if there’s food in your teeth before posing for a picture:

• Spelling
• Syntax
I make sure everything is zipped up, ironed, and presentable for $30/hour.
As a bonus, I will give you up to one page of “Editor’s Notes” with suggestions and feedback to make your final product even better.

Developmental Editing
This includes copy editing as well as evaluation of the following:
- Content
- Structure
- Clarity
- Style
- Consistency
- Pace
- Continuity
I make suggestions on what needs to be changed and why, then return it to you for revisions. Next, you send it back to me so I can incorporate any changes and make sure it’s “camera ready.”
This service is $50/hour.

Formatting and Design
In-house, I can do a basic design for PDF versions of products. Copy editing is included.
Cover + 10 pages or less: $75
Cover + 11-25 pages: $125
Cover +26-50 pages: $250
Cover + 51-75 pages: $275
Cover + 76-100 pages: $300
I contract out for ePUB formatting and cover design, so the price varies (it usually starts at around $100). You are welcome to use whomever you like; I am happy to include this in my project management duties.
